Abstracts
Program Information
The CRT 2025 Abstract Committee invites you to submit abstracts of original investigations for consideration at CRT 2025. Abstracts should constitute original research (clinical studies, basic investigation and animal studies are equally encouraged) in the field of cardiovascular medicine and intervention. The content may include portions of prior abstracts and/or manuscripts submitted or presented elsewhere, but CRT will not duplicate submissions.
Top 3 abstracts will be eligible to receive a cash prize.

Recognition
Top abstracts will be presented orally at CRT 2025, and the presenting authors will be listed as CRT 2025 Associate Faculty.

Abstract Policies and Procedures
Submission Details
- There is no fee required to submit an abstract to CRT 2025.
- There is no limit to the number of abstracts a person may submit.
- All abstracts must be submitted in English.
- Do not include Title or Author information in the body of your abstract; these are separate fields you will complete in Oasis.
- Abstracts should be structured as follows: Background, Methods, Results and Conclusion.
- Abstracts should briefly describe the objectives of the study, statement of methods and findings that support conclusions.
- Abstract grading is blind, and abstracts are selected based on merit. Clarity of expression will be considered in the review process. The overall quality of language used should assure comprehension by the reader.
- Your abstract should not contain more than 2,200 characters (not including spaces).
- A figure or table equals 600 characters and is included as part of the 2,200-character limit.
- Figures and images must be uploaded separately. Supported formats are JPG and GIF.
- All abstracts submitted are disclosed to members of the Peer Review Selection Committee, the accredited provider, and MedStar Washington Hospital Center employees and contractors as necessary, in connection with CRT 2025.
Submitters may edit or withdraw abstracts any time before 5:00 PM on Friday, November 22, 2024. Email submissions@crtmeeting.org to withdraw an abstract.
